Stay Warm This Winter with the Perfect Lobster Bisque

It’s cold outside with that biting January air rolling down from the North. The snow is blowing sideways and it’s building up fast. There is no better way to beat the cold than staying indoors and throwing together a few of your favorite ingredients for hot shellfish soup.

Lobster Bisque Ingredients
What you will need:
3 tbsp. butter
1 can vegetable stock
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
3/4 cup whole milk
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 to 2 1/2 cups lobster meat

Once you have broken the lobster from its shell, because this is the most time-consuming, melt the butter in a large pot on medium heat. Once fully melted, add the vegetable stock, salt, cayenne and boil for 10 minutes.

Add lobster to the mixture and puree. Then add milk, cream and wine. Simmer about 30 mins until thickened. So when you’re struggling to beat the frigid temps outdoors, don’t forget hot soup will give you the leg up.
